Patrick O’Donnell is a Beverly-based painter whose vibrant abstractions embody a playful collision between punk-rock grit and slapstick humor. A house painter since age 12, Patrick first transformed leftover enamel paint and scrap plywood into bold, expressive compositions. Today, his work remains true to these DIY roots, featuring saturated colors, sharp geometry, and clever titles that blend North Shore wit with everyday labor.
Patrick’s art has been exhibited widely across Cape Ann and the North Shore, including shows at Zephyr Gallery, COSMOS Gallery, and Salted Cod Arthouse. His pieces add bright energy to collections, embodying the irreverent spirit and authentic craftsmanship that define his distinctive voice.
